The following is a paraphrased version of my first post on the site.
Well, I have decided that I need a place to vent my political frusterations, and comments on other blogs and forums just didn’t seem to cut it. That is what this blog is for, and not much else. The majority of personal entries will remain on the livejournal account, which I am not going to link to here. My first few posts will be outlining my political stance as of the beginning of this blog, and will possibly be used as a frame of reference as necessary in the future. If you are new here, it might be a good idea to browse to those posts and read them first to get an idea about my political orientation, the content of the blog, and whether or not you would find the subject matter interesting and be able to positively contribute to the debate. The rest of the posts are devoted primarily to commentating on the events in the headlines (and maybe even those that were missed by the MSM) through linking to other political blogs (most notably Right Thoughts, Right Thinking from the Left Coast, Michelle Malkin, Scott Bradford: Off on a Tangent, et. al.) and various well known and obscure news sources. Who knows, I might even bring up past events to illustrate a point; whatever happens, though, I hope this isn’t a blog destined to fail.
Note: I am not affiliated with any political party, and you will find that I disagree with every party on something. Second, my writing style is not particularly concise. I don’t think about what I’m going to write that much, I just do; this can result in rambling posts that can deviate from the initial topic. I’m sorry if this bothers you (but I’m not going to do anything about it).
Anyway, thanks for reading, and feel free to comment, as I welcome any political debate. I try not to write off anyone as wrong (unless they screwed up the facts), I will simply express my opinion, the logic behind it, and why I do not share yours if they differ.
